Beware of an offer that seems too good to be true

I came across this rather alarming article published in IOL recently.

As with any service be it medical or otherwise, it is so important to research your provider and do your due diligence to make sure the person offering you your service is qualified to do so.

While the vast majority of aesthetic practitioners in. South Africa are highly qualified and respected colleagues, there will always be a small subset of individuals who are willing to bend or break the rules in order to make a quick buck and, in the case of aesthetic treatments, this can often come at the cost of severe complications to the client.

One of the core tenets of medical practice is to remain up to date with new knowledge and to maintain the skills required to practice. This is often an onerous and expensive undertaking but is vital to ensure that my clients receive the best quality treatments that I can possibly provide.

While it is impossible to never have a complication of any sort, every care is taken in my practice to provide high quality, evidence based interventions with a fully informed and consented client.

In the rare event of a complication, I will take full responsibility for the management and treatment thereof.

My clients deserve the best version of me they can possibly get.
