A Global Foundation of Medical Excellence
Dr. Neil Barnard brings a unique, perspective to medical aesthetics. With a career rooted in the most demanding fields of medicine, his approach is defined by clinical precision, a deep understanding of human anatomy, and an unwavering commitment to patient safety.
Having started his medical training at UCT, he completed his specialist qualifications in emergency and intensive care medicine, holding fellowship in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
He still works in these areas but developed a keen interest in skin health, wellness and vitality after realising the primary reason for most non-traumatic presentations to the emergency room and then on to the intensive care unit were rooted in poor lifestyle choices and a neglect of functional wellness.
This led him to explore holistic wellness and lifestyle modifications which further led him to explore facial and medical aesthetics.
He has since completed mastery training with the prestigious Dermamedical academy in the UK where he has completed masterclass training in facial anatomy, physiology and aesthetic treatments. This training has been honed through ongoing experience with patients and has been supplemented by specialist training using evidence based treatments under the guise of renowned international specialists and trainers.
