Client S felt that her lips were thin and made her appear sour faced in company

We discussed multiple options to improve this appearance. While I was in favour of a multi-pronged approach to help S achieve her goals, she had a budget that did not extend to treatments of multiple areas and could not include skin booster therapy.

At Redermal, I will always work hard to ensure that the client gets the best value treatment with the greatest wow factor regardless of budget and circumstance.

After careful mapping of her current lip anatomy, I decided on lip filler treatment using Restylane Kysse.

S had a beautiful lower lip shape but her upper lip was thin, flat to her face and she had a slight assymetry to her cupid’s bow. She was particularly concerned that she would end up with over-filled “sausage lips”. The core ethos at Redermal is natural looking results enhancing our clients’ native facial features so they have improvement without looking false.

Treatment Plan
Restylane Kysse was injected along the circumference of the lips to bring out the border between the pink and white portion of the lip making the lips immediately more striking and noticeable. Careful linear injections to the upper lip provided volume, lift and improved symmetry. Finally, to retain appropriate proportionality between upper and lower lip, a commensurate volume of filler was injected into the lower lip

Key Outcome & Conclusions

S was ecstatic with her results. While I was able to achieve a noticeable improvement in volume and definition of her lips, I used micro injections and checked in with her at every stage thus allowing her to guide me as to the degree of volume enhancement which she was happy with.

Every Redermal treatment is a collaborative procedure between me and the client. The client is always in charge.

Future treatment planning involved a comprehensive long term skin care regimen. I have suggested filler to provide some support to her cheeks which will elevate the lower third of the face. After that, we will consider subtle filler to soften the deep marionette line wrinkles. S is an excellent candidate for skin booster therapy also.

I am looking forward to continuing her aesthetic journey with her.
