Facial rejuvenation and a sharper profile
Dermal filler to cheeks restore volume combined with structural filler to the jawline to sharpen the jaw profile and masculinise the face
K is an extremely creative person working a job which requires a wide range of facial expression. Prior to his consultation with me, he had lost a significant amount of weight which while much better for his overall health, had left his face feeling saggy and loose.
He wanted a treatment which would restore the youthful appearance of his face and strengthen his profile as he felt “that his jar had slipped down into his neck”
At the time of my consultation with him, I noticed his skin was not in good condition overall. He had multiple areas of dryness, and his skin was lacking in lustre and elasticity.
He also had quite deep and expressive wrinkles as a result of facial expression.
In addressing his main concerns, it was clear that his weight loss had led to a loss of volume particularly beneath his eyes and in his cheeks. His jawline was quite weak also without a sharp delineation between jaw and neck.
K and I discussed his main concerns together. He was very keen to undergo a cautious step wise approach to rejuvenating his skin so I proposed a treatment which would help maintain a youthful appearance and stronger jaw line with maximum results in as short a time as possible.
I used a soft dermal filler to fill the hollows in his tear troughs to improve the deep shadows beneath his eyes. I added some structural filler along his cheekbones to provide life to the lower face and then added further filler along the jawline to sharpen his profile.
K was thrilled with the results we were able to achieve with relatively small time investment and filler usage.
He has committed to further treatments to continue to maximise his skin health.
This includes wellness interventions like managing stress, improving sleep and cleaning up his diet. He has further committed to a simple but consistent skin care routine involving twice daily sunscreen, moisturising and cleansing treatments with.
Further injectable treatments will include Sculptra to improve the quality, elasticity and collagen content of his skin as well.
