The LabsForHome Virtual Simulator allows students to perform science experiments through a gamified virtual platform, greatly enhancing the traditional experience of practical experiments. With over 60 experiments that are currently available, mapped to national curriculum, and over 150 planned for the very near future – students have comprehensive access to the content they need to thrive.

Each and every experiment is customizable, with teachers having the ability to change the difficulty, questions, scoring weightage, background scenery, and more. This allows you the chance to personalize the perfect science lab for your students. Students’ attempts are recorded in great detail, and given a score based on a set of KPIs thus allowing a teacher to track a student’s performance and progress over the course of their trials, giving them the chance to further adjust the experiments to better suit their classroom.

Furthermore, the Virtual Simulator will help teach your students not only Science, but Technology as well by foregoing a traditional science lab apparatus, in favor of a tech based kit. Students will also learn programming becoming technologically literate as well as masters of the natural sciences. It is the aim of LabsForHome to create well rounded forward-thinking students capable of taking on the future world, and with this aim in mind we have lovingly crafted an experience which matches no other by combining both of these fields.

Naturally, the LabsForHome Virtual Simulator has accessibility as an upmost priority, with a large focus on ensuring that all students can take part. For example, students can choose to do an experiment without the use of their hands entirely. They can choose to complete the experiment with an eye-tracker, which acts as a mouse, or even through voice commands. Furthermore, magnification and colorblind options are available for the visually impaired, as well as many other accessibility features. Using LabsForHome, no student is left behind.

The LabsForHome Virtual Simulator is intended for use with the LabsForHome Science Kit, allows students to complete experiments both physically and virtually. With the purchase of a Science Kit, the student will receive a free 1 year subscription to the LabsForHome Virtual Simulator.
